Open in all 50 states, including Puerto Rico: We are looking for a highly detail-oriented individual to join our team on an as-needed basis. This role will support product recall audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate has experience in product recalls, quality assurance, or auditing and is willing to travel within their home state. This remote position will require onsite visits and/or phone calls to local facilities to gather essential information related to recall activities.


Key Responsibilities:

· Perform audits of product recalls, including reviewing documentation, verifying inventory counts, and ensuring proper record-keeping.

· Initiate contact with consignees via cold calling to collect and verify data related to the recall process.

· Track and monitor recall progress, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution of any identified issues.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and follow up on recall audit-related tasks.

· Prepare detailed reports summarizing recall audit findings, trends, and areas for improvement.

· Communicate effectively with cross- functional teams to ensure compliance with recall procedures and policies.

· Identify and escalate any discrepancies or concerns related to recall processes to cross- functional team.

· Local travel to various locations to perform in-person audits.


Requirements:

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability effectively interact with key stakeholders in a professional manner

· Excellent time management, organizational, and data management/data entry skills with attention to detail

· Government Issued Identification Card

· Access to cell phone, tablet or computer with internet access

· Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

· Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, MS Excel, MS Forms, GPS location apps, etc.).


Qualifications:

· Education: Some college preferred in a scientific or medical discipline, and Food Service Industry preferred but not required

· Experience in auditing, compliance, or quality assurance, particularly in regulated industries preferred

· Experience in product recalls or supply chain processes preferred

· Familiarity with regulatory compliance in a manufacturing or healthcare environment preferred


Work Environment: 

Nationwide: This is a remote, PRN (as needed) position with flexible hours and requires travel to audit sites within the local area.
